COOKEScope Model 125

CookeScope High Illumination Flash Example

The COOKEScope Model 125 is a Very High Illumination Flash System

The COOKEScope Model 125 is ideal for taking photographs of high-speed phenomena. It produces a very high illuminance flash of 100 Joules in a duration of 25 microseconds. A short recharge time of 20 seconds allows for repetitive flashing at rates up to 3 flashes per minute at full flash energy output. Illumination coverage over an area up to 2m x 1m is provided at a working distance of 4 m.

The plug-in quartz glass flash tube with reflector and lens is mounted in a robust, waterproof die-cast light weight metal housing. The housing contains all necessary components for powering and triggering the flash tube. The housing and base plate are swivel-mounted in the frame. In addition to stand alone operation, mounting holes at the bottom of the base plate allow for easy mounting to a tripod or customer supplied hardware.

The COOKEScope Model 125 requires little maintenance or care during its operation, and no special precautions are needed for storage of the system.
